The story behind the Hexa collection

When designing the Hexa collection, I drew inspiration from a gemstone cut what looks like a hexagonal drop. The hexagonal crystal system of the aquamarine also provided additional inspiration. The aquamarine is not only my birthstone, but also one of my favorite gemstones because of its beautiful colors. The natural pattern of the hexagon has evolved into a collection of minimalist, geometric and timeless jewelry that I am super proud of.

Significance of the Hexa collection

While there is no deep meaning behind the Hexa collection, this collection is one that I am super proud of. All the jewelry can be combined so beautifully with each other and they also really stand out on their own. It is a unique collection that I worked on with enormous passion.

It started with some sketches I had made for the collection. This grew into one or two more wax models and then the collaboration with my 3D artist began. This was a super fine collaboration and because I had very clear how it should be, the end result became exactly as I had imagined it.

Jewelry care: this is how to care for your Hexa jewelry

To keep your Hexa jewelry beautiful, it is important to treat it with care. Jewelry is not a utility item and whether it lasts for generations is entirely in the hands of the person wearing it.

My tips:
Put jewelry on only after showering, making up, putting on perfume and applying lotions. When not wearing jewelry, store it in a dry room, in the jewelry box or in a nice jewelry storage container.

Silver oxidizes, and this will happen sooner or later. This depends on many factors, such as the acidity of your skin, hormonal fluctuations, certain chemicals and cleaning products. With every order, you will receive a cleaning cloth that you can use to clean your jewelry.

After using the polishing cloth, you can clean the jewelry in warm (not hot!) water with a mild soap and a soft toothbrush. Then rinse well under the tap and dry. Personally, I always use a junk-free all-purpose cleaner and dish soap from Young Living to clean jewelry, yes, even jewelry I polished! Works super and your airways will thank you.

Finally, don’t sleep with your jewelry! This will wear them out significantly faster. If you want your jewelry to last generations, you have to use it sparingly.

Styling tip: Mix & Match the Hexa collection

The minimalist and geometric style of the Hexa collection makes it easy to combine with different looks. For example, you can wear different lengths of the Hexa necklaces together, and you can also mix and match the rings. Do you have multiple holes in your ears? Then combine the small Hexa creoles with the beautiful long earrings. My favorite ring combination is two hexa narrow rings with a hexa medium ring in the middle, as an add-on ring. On the other hand, for example, the hexa ring double as an eyecatcher. Do you prefer less is more? Wear the jewelry separately for a minimalist look.

A: Definitely! All jewelry from the Hexa collection can be worn daily. Of course, I advise you to take off jewelry while exercising, sleeping and swimming. But other than that, you can wear them every day with confidence. You don’t buy jewelry to leave it in the box, so enjoy it!
