This Silver Necklace With Flower Pendant is made differently than how I normally make jewelry. Normally I make jewelry from sterling silver wire, plate or cast jewelry from which I made a model from wax. But this pendant I made from silver clay. This is fine silver with additional additives so that it has a clay-like texture. Hence, I was able to incorporate a real flower into this design. A super fun new experiment that I definitely want to keep working on from time to time. The gourmet necklace is sterling silver, 45 cm long and 1.2 mm thick.
